The Virginia AFL-CIO COPE Committee Makes Senate and Congressional Endorsements for the 2024 Election

Richmond, VA –During the Virginia AFL-CIO’s Forty-Third Constitutional Convention held in Williamsburg, Virginia from August 15 – 17, 2024, the Virginia AFL-CIO COPE Committee and attending delegates endorsed the following candidates for U.S. Senate and U.S. Congress for the 2024 Election Cycle:

U.S. Congress: 

Congressional District 1: Leslie Mehta

Congressional District 2: Missy Cotter Smasal

Congressional District 3: Robert “Bobby” Scott

Congressional District 4: Jennifer McClellan

Congressional District 5: Gloria Tinsley Witt

Congressional District 6: Ken Mitchell

Congressional District 7: Eugene Vindman

Congressional District 8: Donald Beyer, Jr.

Congressional District 9: Karen Baker
